Mon 2:00pm-5:00pm,
Tues 1:00pm-5:00pm, and
Weds 10:00am-Noon, during the duration of the course

Keep on practicing! Whether you're new to clay, jumping back in after a break or just looking to sharpen your skills, continue learning about throwing on the potters' wheel, hand building, surface design and decoration, and glazing for cone 10 reduction firing. This class is designed for all skill levels and will inspire and guide you through a variety of forming and finishing techniques and ceramics fundamentals. Beginner to Intermediate skill level.

**Up to 50lbs of clay included per class. Additional clay and firing charges for more than 50lbs. All students must use cone 10 clay and glazes available at Chases Garage.

Students who want to continue learning and perfect their skills on the pottery wheel, hand-building and glazing for cone 10 reduction firing are encouraged to enroll.  

 

** For purposes of proper glazing and firing, all students must use cone 10 clay and glazes available at Chases Garage - no clay purchased from outside sources will be permitted for use in this class. We use #900 toast brown stoneware as well as #510 white stoneware from Laguna and BMIX and have approx. 20 glazes and slips available for use in the studio. Students will learn wheel throwing, hand building, surface design and glazing techniques from local ceramicist, Brian Buckland
