Tara Morin is an artist and a traveler.  Having lived and visited many different places nationally and internationally, she is interested in the notion of home and sanctuary, specifically how individual's create and apply their own mythologies to space.  She draws her inspiration from folklore, mysticism, philosophy and the rugged natural beauty of Maine's coast and northern wilderness. 


She holds a BA in Religion from Bowdoin College, a BFA in Graphic Design and New Art Media from the University of North Dakota, and an MAT in Art Education from Columbia College Chicago.  She is currently a graduate student in the MFA program at Heartwood College of Art and is the art educator at Village Elementary School in York, Maine.
